Family Weekend 2020- PFA Advisory Board Fundraising Campaign
Food insecurity is a growing issue that affects many Arizona students. The Campus Pantry, which opened its doors in 2012, continues to assist all students by providing healthy food for free! Each week, they serve approximately 550 students.
The University of Arizona Parents & Family Association (PFA) Advisory Board had the opportunity to tour and volunteer at the Campus Pantry in February 2020. We learned about the history of the Campus Pantry, prepared food for distribution and met the incredible, hardworking Campus Pantry staff.
In the past two years, the PFA Advisory Board have fundraised over $20,000 for the Campus Pantry and are passionate about continuing to support UA students and the campus. Traditionally, we would host a fundraising golf tournament during Family Weekend. This year, we have come up with a creative way to continue fundraising safely by launching this virtual crowdfunding campaign. Can we count on you to support the Campus Pantry today? Make a donation here, and help us meet our goal of $15,000.
