Have you ever hiked four different trails around the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area? Now is your chance! Join us on a day hike of the Sabino Lake, Creek, Rattlesnake, and Esperero Trails. This three to four-mile trail takes you on a journey through the biodiverse desert and flowing creeks. Grab your family and embark on this peaceful, yet breathtaking experience. Entry fees to Sabino Canyon are included in the cover charge.

What to expect:

• Meet at Outdoor Recreation: 1400 E. 6th Street, Tucson AZ 85721 (1st floor)
• Transportation provided- 30 minute commute
• Drive up to Sabino Canyon
• 5-minute initiative, a chance to give back to the natural areas around us
• Hike!
• Lunch break-bring your own lunch
• Head back to Outdoor Rec

Packing List:

• Hiking boots/shoes
• Athletic clothing (hiking pants, leggings, etc.)
• Warm layer
• Water bottles- 2 liters recommended (may be reserved from Outdoor Recreation at no additional cost).
• Sunscreen
• Hat, sunglasses
• Day backpack-(may be reserved from Outdoor Recreation at no additional cost).
• Personal lifesaving medication
• Lunch and snacks
